The idea, in 2013
In 2013 Giovanni Monge Roffarello began developing the Officine Mattio project. The goal: a bicycle in which product quality and Italian identity take concrete shape. Study, research and testing followed.

Lemma, the first frame
Lemma was born in 2015. Its name comes from a local climb where Giovanni tested the first prototypes. It was the starting point of a collection that has grown over the years together with the company's people and skills.

Our way of growing
In 2019 the project took on a new dimension as a company. We keep developing bicycles, craftsmanship and personalisation options, while preserving the bond between those who design, those who build and those who ride.
