The beginning of the project
The project starts from the idea of Giovanni Monge Roffarello that feels the need to create not only an Italian brand, but also a made-in-Italy product, in compliance with high-quality and production standards.

A year of studies, research and new ideas. The project starts to take shape: Giovanni defines the ways to turn his dream into reality. The official OM logo is designed.

THE FIRST STEP forward
The first frame
The dream becomes reality with the creation of the first carbon-fiber frame, named after the Alpine climb on which Giovanni had tested it, Lemma.
2016
In search for perfection
The range grows
The first catalogue comes to life with new bike models: the Brondello, the Eremo in steel and The War Machine in carbon fiber.
The prototype of the gravel Santiago is created.
2017
OFFICINE MATTIO IN THE WORLD
First victories on OM frames
OM bicycles make themselves known around the world by winning the Granfondo New York and the Granfondo Roma.
The first OM wheels are created.
OM Adventure, the official tour operator of Officine Mattio, is founded.
2018

First sponsorship
Officine Mattio becomes title sponsor of the iconic Granfondo La Fausto Coppi the cycling event in Cuneo: 33 editions; 3,000 participants from more than 40 different countries.
In the same year, the bike models SL and SL X in carbon fiber are created.
2019
THE BEGINNING
The creation of Officine Mattio
Five people, united by the passion for cycling, establish Officine Mattio Srl. .
Officine Mattio is now able to welcome dealers and visitors from all over the world. Officine Mattio celebrates new victories: L’Ètape Du Tour and the Granfondo La Fausto Coppi.
2020

The collection grows
New bicycle models are introduced: the carbon Lemma 2.0 and the Gravel Santiago made of steel, aluminum and carbon fiber.
The first collection of OM apparel comes out.
2021
NEW CHALLENGE
New projects and bike models.
Officine Mattio becomes technical sponsor of the OM.CC Team (Officine Mattio Cycling Club), founded in December 2020.
The new OM1 S is introduced in June 2021, together with the brand new OM wheels collection and sunglasses.
A new B2B platform, for our dealers, is opened.
