WARRANTY

1. OFFICINE MATTIO FRAMES AND FORKS

The warranty is provided by the manufacturer Officine Mattio S.r.l. It applies to Officine Mattio branded frames and forks purchased after 1 January 2021, whose frame serial code (that can be found below the bottom bracket) begins with the number 21 or 22.

Officine Mattio S.r.l. warrants its frame and fork for a limited period 2 years from the first purchase against defects in materials and workmanship that become apparent after a correct use of the product. First purchase means that the product is purchased new from an authorised Officine Mattio dealer If the frame is resold by the original owner within the two-year period, a temporary partial cover is not transferable from the original owner to the next owner. Proof of purchase must be retained to benefit from the Officine Mattio warranty.

If you register your Officine Mattio frame on the official OM website ("Warranty" section), within 2 months of purchase, the warranty will be extended by 1 year.

2. FRAME PAINTING

The paintwork is guaranteed for 12 months and only for defects attributable to its quality. Damages attributable to product’s use is excluded.

3. OFFICINE MATTIO WHEELS

As per legal regulations the wheels are insured for 2 years. They are insured against defects in materials and workmanship that can occur when the product is used correctly. You must keep your proof of purchase to benefit from the Officine Mattio warranty.

For the warranty to apply you must take contact with an official Officine Mattio dealer or send an e-mail to service@officinemattio.com and list the serial codes that are located respectively on the front wheel and on the rear wheel.

4. LIMITS OF THE WARRANTY

Officine Mattio does not guarantee the frame in case of:

– Abnormal/improper use of the bicycle

– Incorrect assembly

– Incorrect maintenance

– Deliberate removal of the frame serial number

5. THIRD PARTS DAMAGES

In the event of damage to other manufacturers parts or third-party accessories, i.e., non-Officine Mattio branded products, that are assembled on the Officine Mattio bicycles, the respective manufacturer's warranty may apply.

Your authorised Officine Mattio dealer will be able to give you more information.

6. CRASH REPLACEMENT

We also want to support you in the event of a crash with consequent frame breakage, which is why we offer you a 30% discount on the purchase of a new Officine Mattio frame or fork To benefit from this opportunity, the frame must be registered. The discount will be applied to owners of frames up to 3 years old from the date of registration.

In the event of an accident, Officine Mattio S.r.l., offers a 30% discount for the purchase of a set of OM branded wheels too. Again, to benefit from the discount, the wheels must have been registered. The discount will be applied to owners of wheels up to 2 years old from the date of registration.
